I create textile portraits that bridge the worlds of fine art, fashion and environmental consciousness. Working primarily in free-motion embroidery, I transform collected vintage fabrics - some held since my studies in Fashion Imaging - into botanical and figurative works that consider and honour the natural world and the material itself.
